The Lubbock Ad Fed and Dr. Sarge are looking for volunteers for next week’s AAF District Convention. This is a chance to connect with LAF, attend a professional conference and to support our TAF Ad Team who will be at the convention competing against the other district ad teams for the AAF National Student Ad Competition.
They are only asking for 3 hour blocks (or less) of your time to either help run the Conference Information and Registration Table (Thursday, April 14th from 6pm to 9pm and Friday, April 15th during time blocks between 7:30am to 4:30pm), Lunch Shuttle (April 15th, 2016 from 10 or 11am to noon), and just the Conference Information Table on the final day (Saturday, April 16th, during time blocks between 8am and 3pm).
The lunch shuttle event would involve two volunteers assisting conference attendees boarding the shuttle at the Overton and two assisting attendees at the Texas Tech Club as well (finding it, etc.). Lunch will be held at the Texas Tech Club but attendees will be at the Overton so volunteers will just need to make sure they find and board the shuttle to and from each location.
Find us in COMC 353 at 7 p.m. We’ll be serving FREE CHICKFILA.
Our guest speaker is Chris Cook, Director of Marketing and Communications for Texas Tech! We’re excited to have him and listen to his advice.
WE HAVE A TAF SLOGAN WINNER! Did you win that Torchy’s gift card? Swing by and find out!
Also at this meeting, we’ll be presenting designs for the new spring shirt, freshly designed by Promotions Officer TJ Vining. Be sure to check it out!
